The goal of the tutorial is to introduce the concept of astronomical resource discovery and publishing implemented by the Registry facility of the AstroGrid. The attendees could find it useful to familiarise themselves with the installation requirements and interoperability issues of resource integration. The tutorial will provide walkthroughs of the installation and setup process for adding a new resource to the Registry, removing it or performing other administration operations. To get a hands on experience of leveraging the Registry, attendees will be able to follow a variety of searching and harvesting examples introducing various capabilities of the AstroGrid resource discovery.
