Notes
- ACS FITS headers of GOODS release V1.0 are lacking zero points as needed by ACE
- registry WP2 was turned into an IVOA Exec demo item for Jan. 29
- the interfaces of the Astrogrid x-corr service and ACE and the AVO prototype need to be agreed upon very soon; a telecon on Dec. 17 was arranged
- HyperZ photometric redshift code: HyperZ uses Fortran and is apparently designed for Unix-style OS which excludes it from simply bundling with the AVO prototype. Nonetheless, one can use HyperZ to pre-compute a catalogue of redshifts for objects in ACS GOODS frames of CDFS and HDFN.
- Demo setup: There will be a high-res beamer as well as 4 demo stations with Windows XP. Tutors are welcome to bring their own laptops and attach them to the flat screens of the demo machines instead. Note that some laptops require specific adapter cables for external monitors - please take them with you if applicable.
- In case of network downtime: In such a case the tutorial walkthroughs (presentation and possible movie of demo session) will be shown instead of a live demo. The live demo will be done once the network problem is resolved. In contrast to last year there is no off-line scenario.
