Discussion on Certification

• Luigi pushes for ESA becoming CA (currently RA) and to ensure that EIROs follow 'the European approach'
• Salim/Jonathan: EIROs not yet RA/CA should generally become an RA
• Markus: ESO is planning to use DFN (Deutsches Forschungsnetz) as CA for its users starting in the coming months and will therefore comply to EUGridPMA standards

Eduroam

• ESA, ESO, ESRF: currently it is not an issue given that WLAN is already a free separate net in those organizations
• Jon: EFDA-JET is about to install RADIUS server which will allow membership of EDUROAM

Planning

• next videocon: EOF April, 2006 - Salim will circulate dates
• next face to face meeting: in Autumn 2006 at ILL

Misc

• Salim will ask for grid study report from Matti Heikkurinen
• Luigi to pass pointer to presented material [done, see below]:
