Accommodation, Visitor Information, and Room L130

  • All SAC members should contact the secretariat of the ESO Data Management Division, Nina Felber (dmdsec@eso.org), to arrange for their travel and hotel accomodation.
  • ESO visitor information.
  • Please note that the meeting will be held in room L130 of the Max-Planck-Institut für Plasmaphysik (IPP) L7A building, which is a 5' walk from ESO's main building. A map of the area can be found here. Pictures to guide your way can be found here.
  • IMPORTANT: access from the ESO main building to the IPP building requires an access card (or waiting for someone who has one to go through). SAC members are advised to go to the IPP main gate, where they will need to be signed in, and then walk to the L7A building, following the ruote described here. If you arrive by taxi the guards have instructions to tell the taxi driver how to get to the right building. Please tell the driver that you need to go to the "Forschungsinstitute" in Garching, at the IPP. In case of any problems please go to the ESO main building reception and call the DMD Secretary, Nina Felber (ext. 6692; 32006692 from outside ESO), or Paolo Padovani (ext. 6478; 32006478 from ouside ESO).
