SAC Dinner, November 21

• The SAC dinner will be held at 20:00 on Nov. 21 (i.e., the evening before the meeting) at the Osteria Ristorante Zaraza', via Regina Margherita 45, Frascati (tel.: 06-9422053). The restaurant is very close to the centre of Frascati and you should be able to get directions on how to walk there at your hotel. Here's a map of Frascati with the restaurant location (and that of ESRIN) marked on it. For those staying in Frascati the evening of Nov. 22 we will also organize a dinner. Details will be given at the meeting.

Accommodation and Visitor Information

• The meeting will take place in the James Cook room in building 1 of ESRIN. You will need to register with the security guards at the entrance when you get there and you will be told how to get to the meeting room.
• Frascati is near Rome, Italy. SAC members can fly to Fiumicino or Ciampino airport. The latters is closer to Frascati and has a wider selection of low-cost flights (see the official Web page of Rome Airports). Instructions on how to get to ESRIN in Frascati are available here. A time-table for trains from Roma Termini is available here.
• The ESRIN Centre is in Frascati, via Galileo Galilei, off Via E. Fermi, in the "Area di Ricerca" (Research Area). ESRIN is relatively far from the centre of Frascati (roughly 30' on foot). Depending on which hotel you are staying (the Hotel Antica Colonia is the closest one, roughly a 10'-15' walk) you might want to get there by taxi.

• All SAC members should contact the ESRIN travel office (Esrintravel.Office@esa.int) to arrange for their hotels in Frascati. Arrangements for travel should be done by the SAC members, who will then be reimbursed (see below).

Financial Support for SAC Members

• The EURO-VO Project will cover SAC expenses, including air fare, accommodation, meals, taxis, etc. This will be done by the European Space Agency after the meeting, upon presentation of all relevant receipts and up to a maximum of 900 Euros. A letter of invitation by ESA, which is needed for the reimbursement, has already been sent to all SAC members.
