SAC Dinner on Sunday, June 17 at 19.30 in Noordwijk aan Zee
- The SAC dinner will be held on Sunday, June 17, at 19.30 at "La Galleria" in Noordwijk aan Zee, Koningin Wilhelmina Boulevard 18. This is at the sea front boulevard in front of the row of hotels, very easy to find and known to all hotel receptions.
Accommodation and Visitor Information
- The meeting will take place at ESTEC in room Fresnel 1. When getting the badge [which is ready] at the gate building, participants should ask for a site map and guidance to Fresnel 1. Also reserve some 15 minutes for check in and walking to the meeting room. All meeting participants are affiliated to EURO-VO SAC in their badge so do not get surprised.
- ESTEC is in Noordwijk aan Zee, The Netherlands. Instructions on how to get there can be found here.
- All SAC members should contact the secretariat of the ESO Data Management Division, Nina Felber (nfelber@eso.org, +49-89-3200-6692) by MAY 15, to arrange for their travel. For planning purposes, note that travel time between ESTEC and Amsterdam airport is one hour maximum by taxi.
- Hotel reservation shall be handled by ESTEC. Hotel desk number is +31-71-5655858 for inquiries; for reservations one needs to email estec@bcdtravel.nl. Please ask to stay in Noordwijk aan Zee so that the hotel is within walking distance from the restaurant (still TBD but in Noordwijk aan Zee) where the dinner will be on Sunday evening.
Financial Support for SAC Members
- The EURO-VO Project will cover all SAC expenses, including air fare, accommodation, meals, taxis, etc. This will be done by ESO, upon presentation of all relevant receipts and up to a maximum of 900 Euros (including air fare, which will be covered directly by ESO).
