"possible" extensions to GLU
- WSDL dictionary: use GLU to distribute WSDL service descriptors
- SOAP interface to GLU sites

ad 10)
IDHA data model:
- metadata definition for distributed image sets
- multispectral image analysis
goal: general in content, logical in design, science-oriented
update of data model will be put online within the next days here

problems:
- homogenize object names and attributes (dictionary/thesaurus)
- factorise general info for data collections
- allow different level of detail (coarse to fine)
Querying: class Observation_Group is just a blob to store query from web interface

FG: Resource meta data: Bob's updated document with input from Garching conference not available yet

ad 12)
FG proposes next WA2 meeting in 02/2003 at CDS

ad 13)
- IDHA data model is currently wrapped into VOTable format
- data cubes are not directly supported yet

ad 14)
- 2 interfaces between Aladin and SED:
  1. VOTable input stream from Aladin to SED
  2. public Aladin Java method that SED may use to trigger e.g. Aladin GUI update 
     such public Aladin methods already exist
  ESO creates dummy SED to test the two interfaces this week
  TB prepares source package so that we can test/compile Aladin + SED locally at ESO 


action items (mainly my own ones)

- create a dummy SED that has Aladin interface to read VOTable from Java input stream within this week
- TB prepares source package of Aladin for ESO prior to ADASS
- AR: distribute Richard's draft doc about GOODS Astrometry to GR, AR, MH
      get AR's document with radio view from Astrowiki in turn
- FG asks for samples as input for WA2/CDS demo/poster booth at ADASS from various archives
- set up web page for January demo event with AR
- prepare to discuss simple image access protocol at Baltimore meeting
- ask P. Ballester and M. Rosa to have a look at IDHA data model
- provide ML with input concerning ESO and HST data dictionaries (J. McDowell does same for Chandra)
- look for XMM/GOODS data at IDC
