PR is working on FORS2 spectra, creating a table mapping the X-ray catalog with FORS2 spectra filenames; should be done by Friday. MD brought up the issue of how to x-match optical/X-ray sources; this started a long discussion on the more general problem of cross- correlating catalogs in a VO environment, taking into account the positional uncertainties. Also, the related problem of image registration was addressed. PR reports that optical sources have been already identified in a given field NW opts for a general solution using the Astrogrid infrastructure and by implementing a specific service that joins two tables. A few technical requirements, currently not implemented, came up. MD will collate and circulate them.
